Import of Traceability Links between Polarion Elements

Depending on your mapping configuration settings, links will be established both in the Enterprise Architect model, as well as in Polarion. This is done automatically during the import and export, respectively.

Placeholders for references to non-imported elements

If you import elements, which reference other elements that are not imported, Placeholder elements will be created in order to ensure the consistency for those links. Placeholders are stored in a separate mode root and consist only of the work item ID as name, the element type class and the EA GUID.

Once you also import the target element of the reference, the Placeholder will be replaced by the original element.
