Embedded Engineer starting from version 3.2 (currently only for Enterprise Architect) will inform you if a new version of Embedded Engineer is available for download.

A new entry: New Version Available will be visible at the end of the addin menu, informing you that a new version is available and giving you the link to the release notes and a direct download.
