Fatal Inconsistencies

Starting with Version 2.2, LemonTree also detects so-called "Fatal Model Inconsistencies". These inconsistencies severely impact the success of the comparison/merge, and as such, LemonTree will not continue to process these model. As such, you will still be informed of the inconsistencies and can view them in the "Details" dialog, but you will not be able to continue with the compare/merge.

Resolving Fatal Inconsistencies

The only currently known Fatal Model Inconsistency occurs when two different elements in a model have the same Global Unique Identifier. LemonTree 2.2 is not able to automatically resolve this problem.

However, Enterprise Architect's Integrity Check is able to resolve it.
